On Nov. 4, voters in Florida will decide on Amendment 2, a ballot initiative to legalize medical marijuana in the state.
In June, Gov. Rick Scott signed into law a limited use medical marijuana bill that allows the strain “Charlotte’s Web,” a non-euphoric strain of cannabis, to be used to treat epilepsy and other chronic diseases. This law is limited, prohibiting smoking weed and many patients from access, and does not make Florida a medical marijuana state.
Steve Berke, a supporter of the measure, recently made a parody video titled “You’re the Law that I Want (Yes on 2).”
Berke, who appears as Danny Zuko in the video, has produced other videos on marijuana issues and recently lost his bid for mayor of Miami Beach, where he ran on a platform to decriminalize weed.
The music video was apparently filmed in Texas at the original fun house seen in the 1978 film. Watch it here:
